Active Directory host properties
The Active Directory properties in the NetBackup Administration Console apply to the backup of currently selected Windows Server 2008 clients. The Active Directory properties determine how the backups that allow Active Directory granular restores are performed.

The Active Directory dialog box contains the following properties.

Checks snapshots for data corruption. Applies only to snapshots that the Microsoft Volume Shadow Copy Services (VSS) performs. If corrupt data is found and this option is not selected, the job fails. See Windows Open File Backup tab of the Client Attributes properties. | |
Continues the backup job even if the consistency check fails. It may be preferable for the job to continue, even if the consistency check fails. For example, a backup of the database in its current state may be better than no backup at all. Or, it may be preferable for the backup of a large database to continue if it encounters only a small problem. |
