Enabling cluster use with the KMS service
You can make the KMS service cluster-enabled by adding it to the list of services that can be monitored.
To enable cluster use with KMS
- Open the command prompt on the active node of the cluster.
- Change the directory, as follows:
On Windows: <NetBackup_install_path>\NetBackup\bin
On UNIX: /usr/openv/netbackup/bin
- Run the following command:
On Windows: bpclusterutil -addSvc "NetBackup Key Management Service"
On UNIX: bpclusterutil -addSvc nbkms
- Follow the optional product-specific steps to enable the product. For NetBackup Key Management Service run the command to create the database, and start the service.
