Planning Activity > Stored Backup Images > Valid Backup Images report

Stored Backup Images provide reports on NetBackup backup, duplicate, expired, unexpired images and their sizes.

The Valid Backup Images report shows unexpired backup images across products, domains, clients, policies, and business level views. This report is valid only for NetBackup. This report is available in Ranking and Distribution views.

The unit Years has been added for Relative Timeframe selection. You can now view data for the last x years. You can also see the Years tab on top-right corner of the Tabular Backup report.

The option Next has been removed from the drop-down menu for Relative Timeframe. You now cannot enter a relative timeframe like Next 2 weeks.

The following units for Time Frame Grouping have been removed:

The default Report On parameter is None. Earlier it was Master Server.

UNKNOWN has been added as a value for Policy Type column in the Policy filter. You can now filter report data for policy types that are UNKNOWN. In earlier versions of OpsCenter the unknown policy types were shown as blank. Now all static columns like job type, schedule type, policy type, etc. are shown as UNKNOWN like in VBR.

The following values for Job Type have been removed:

  • Cleaning

  • DB Recover

  • DQTS

  • Erase

  • Storage Pool Management

The default value "All" for Job Type is not there now. The default-selected value is Backup.

Add Scheduled Job filter. You can filter on the basis of Schedule Name or Schedule/Level Type.

The default unit for Y axis is now GB. Earlier it was MB.

The following option has been added:

Show trendline with moving average period of 3. The value can be 1, 2, 3, 7, 14, or 30.

The Distrbution and ranking view is part of another report in OpsCenter "Valid Backup Images"

ImageExpirationTime with value NULL should also be considered as in VBR.
