NetBackup cloud storage server encryption properties

The following encryption-specific storage server properties are used by all or most of the storage vendors. The CRYPT prefix specifies an encryption property. These values are for display purposes only and cannot be changed.

Property

Description

CRYPT:KMS_SERVER

This read-only field displays NetBackup server that hosts the KMS service. When you set the storage server properties, enter the name of the KMS server host. By default, this field contains the NetBackup master server name. You cannot change this value.

Default value: The NetBackup master server name

Possible values: N/A

CRYPT:KMS_VERSION

This read-only field displays the NetBackup Key Management Service version. You cannot change this value.

Default value: 16

Possible values: N/A

CRYPT:LOG_VERBOSE

This read-only field displays if logs are enabled for encryption activities. The value is either YES for logging or NO for no logging.

Default value: NO

Possible values: YES and NO

CRYPT:VERSION

This read-only field displays the encryption version. You cannot change this value.

Default value: 13107

Possible values: N/A
