Veritas NetBackup™ Deduplication Guide

CloudCatalyst logs

In addition to the MSDP logs, NetBackup CloudCatalyst creates additional logs.

The logs for the vxesfsd and the ocsd process are located in the following directories:

  • /usr/openv/netbackup/logs/esfs_database

  • /usr/openv/netbackup/logs/esfs_filesystem

  • /usr/openv/netbackup/logs/esfs_monitor

  • /usr/openv/netbackup/logs/esfs_storage

  • /usr/openv/netbackup/logs/esfs_storagemanager

The location of the logs is configurable in the esfs.json file.

See About the CloudCatalyst esfs.json configuration file.

Additional logs (start and stop operations, configuration, upgrade, and more) are found in:

  • /usr/openv/esfs/log/ops
