IGNORE_XATTR option for NetBackup clients
By default, extended attribute files (Solaris 9 or later) and named data streams are backed up. Use IGNORE_XATTR to exclude extended attributes and named data streams from backups. (IGNORE_XATTR was formerly IGNORE_XATTR_SOLARIS.)

How to use | Use the nbgetconfig and the nbsetconfig commands to view, add, or change the option. For information about these commands, see the NetBackup Commands Reference Guide. Use the following format: IGNORE_XATTR NetBackup does not check for extended attributes or named data streams if the IGNORE_XATTR entry is present in the bp.conf file.
