NetBackup™ Status Codes Reference Guide

NetBackup status code: 111

Message: No entry was found in the server list

Explanation: On UNIX, the SERVER = server_name line is omitted from the bp.conf file. On Windows, the server list contains no entries.

Recommended Action: Do the following, as appropriate:

  • On a UNIX client, add the following line to the top of the /usr/openv/netbackup/bp.conf file:

    SERVER = server_name
  • On a Microsoft Windows client, add the server name on the Server to use for backups and restores drop-down in the Specify NetBackup Machines and Policy Type dialog box. To display this dialog box, start the Backup, Archive, and Restore interface on the client. Then click Specify NetBackup Machines and Policy Type on the File menu.
