NetBackup™ Status Codes Reference Guide

NetBackup status code: 58

Message: can't connect to client

Explanation: The following items can cause this issue:

  • The server was unable to connect to the client.

  • The Hadoop or HBase application server port is not specified correctly when the credentials are provided using the tpconfig command.

Recommended Action: Resolve network communication problems.

When using Hadoop or HBase, verify that the application server port number is updated correctly when using the tpconfig command.
