NetBackup alert notification status codes

This section contains the NetBackup alert notification status codes.

The NetBackup administrator is notified of critical errors that are sent through a ticketing system in your environment. The alerts are generated based on status codes that are specific to job failures and are sent to the ticketing system. The NetBackup administrator can view these alerts as incidents in the ticketing system's user interface.

NetBackup supports the ticketing systems that are based on inbound email services, such as ServiceNow, Remedy, or HP Service Manager (HPSM).

The following table lists the NetBackup status codes that generate alerts and sends them to the ticketing system.

Note:

Alerts are generated for the listed status codes only for the following Job Types: Backup, Snapshot, Snapshot Replication, Index from Snapshot, and Backup from SnapShot.
