Enabling the monitoring of the KMS service
You can enable the monitoring of the KMS service and failover NetBackup when the service fails.
To enable monitoring of the KMS service and failover NetBackup if it fails
- Open a command prompt on the active node of the cluster.
- Change the directory, as follows:
On Windows: <NetBackup_install_path>\NetBackup\bin
On UNIX: /usr/openv/netbackup/bin
- Run the following command.
On Windows: bpclusterutil -enableSvc "NetBackup Key Management Service"
On UNIX: bpclusterutil -enableSvc nbkms
