De-elevate roles
After performing the required operation, you can expire role elevation.
To de-elevate a role
- Click Profiles > Profile settings.
- On the User profile settings page, click the Role elevation tab.
Click De-elevate role to expire role elevation. All the elevated user login sessions will be terminated. All existing roles will be de-elevated.
- Operations that are associated with this role cannot be performed after the role elevation expires.
- Sign into the web UI again to go back to the base role.
You cannot request another role elevation if an active elevation is in progress. You must first de-elevate before requesting a new role elevation.
The User sessions tab displays the information of all active sessions along with associated base roles and elevated roles.
