Customize protection settings for a NetBackup for VMware asset
You can customize certain settings for a protection plan, including the schedule backup window and other options.
To customize protection settings for a NetBackup for VMware asset
- On the left, click Workloads > NetBackup for VMware.
- Do one of the following:
Edit the settings for a VM
On the Virtual machines tab, click on the VM that you want to edit.
Edit the settings for an intelligent group
On the Intelligent VM groups tab, click on the group that you want to edit.
- Click Customize protection > Continue.
- Adjust any of the following settings:
The backup start window.

Backup options and Advanced options.
- Click Protect.
