Add a policy for Notes

This topic describes how to create a policy to protect a database.

To create a policy to backup database supporting files, you need to perform a different procedure.

To add a policy for Notes

  1. Open the NetBackup web UI.
  2. On the left, select Protection > Policies. Then select Add.
  3. Type a unique name for the new policy.
  4. From the Policy type list, select Lotus-Notes.
  5. Complete the entries on the Attributes tab.

  6. Add other policy information as follows:

    • Add schedules.

    • Add clients.

    • Add database objects to the backup selections list.

  7. When you have completed the policy configuration, select Create.
