Shut down and start up all NetBackup services and daemons

To shut down and start all NetBackup services and daemons, enter the following commands from a command line:

On Windows:

  • To shut down all NetBackup services:

    install_path\NetBackup\bin\bpdown
  • To startup all NetBackup services:

    install_path\NetBackup\bin\bpup

On UNIX:

  • To shut down all NetBackup daemons:

    /usr/openv/netbackup/bin/bp.kill_all
  • To startup all NetBackup daemons:

    /usr/openv/netbackup/bin/bp.start_all
