Add a credential for proxy server

This type of credential allows you to access a proxy server that you have configured using the web UI.

To add a credential for a proxy server

  1. On the left, click Credential management.
  2. On the Named credentials tab, click Add.
  3. Select NetBackup as credential store and click Start.
  4. Provide the following properties:
    • Credential name

    • Tag

    • Description (for example: This credential is used to access the proxy server)

  5. Click Next.
  6. Select Proxy server as category.
  7. Select one of the following authentication options for the proxy server:
    • Authenticated proxy server (requires username and password)

    • Unauthenticated proxy server

  8. Enter the following proxy server details:
    • Proxy username

    • Proxy password

    • Proxy server

    • Proxy port

    • CA certificate

  9. Click Next.
  10. Add a role that you want to have access to the credential.
  11. Select the role and the credential permissions that you want the role to have.
  12. Click Next and follow the prompts to complete the wizard.
