Add a credential for cloud KMS

This type of credential allows you to access a cloud KMS server that you have configured using the web UI.

To add a credential for a cloud KMS

  1. On the left, click Credential management.
  2. On the Named credentials tab, click Add.
  3. Select NetBackup as credential store and click Start..
  4. Provide the following properties:
    • Credential name

    • Tag

    • Description (for example: This credential is used to access cloud KMS server)

  5. Click Next.
  6. Select Cloud KMS as category.
  7. Select one of the following access details options: Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud Platform, or Microsoft Azure
  8. The authentication method to be selected changes as per the access details that are selected.
  9. Click Next.
  10. Add a role that you want to have access to the credential.
    • Click Add.

    • Select the role.

    • Select the credential permissions that you want the role to have.

  11. Click Next and follow the prompts to complete the wizard.
