NetBackup™ Web UI Administrator's Guide

Add a compute host

You must add and configure a compute host before you perform YARA scanning on backup images.

To add a compute host

  1. On the left, click Detection and reporting > Compute host.
  2. Click Add.
  3. Select a NetBackup client host with the required scanning tool configuration.
  4. Select the operations that the compute host can perform, for example: YARA scanner.
  5. Select the scanner type, for example: YARA scanner.

  6. Select one of the following options for a storage server to associate with the compute host:
    • Allow any storage server to use this compute host

    • Select storage servers.

  7. Click Add.
