NetBackup™ Web UI Administrator's Guide

Edit the settings for multiple schedules at a time

You can change the settings for multiple schedules at the same time.

Note the following behavior when you edit multiple schedules:

  • Any settings that do not apply to all the selected schedules or schedule types are grayed out. If you select a different schedule type, it may enable a schedule setting that is grayed out.

  • If a schedule setting depends on a policy setting that is not selected, that schedule setting is grayed out. For example, the Synthetic backup option is only available when you select a policy type that is either Standard or MS-Windows.

On Schedules tab, use the Copy to new option that allows copying a single schedule to the same or a different policy.

  • NetBackup indicates if different selections are made for different schedules:

    • A mixed state is displayed. For example, if the Allow multiple data streams option is selected for one policy but a second policy.

    • The message "Multiple values" or value <Multiple values> is displayed. For example, if multiple retention levels are selected.

  • If you choose to enable, disable, add, or change a setting, that new setting is applied to all of the selected schedules.

  • If a setting depends on another setting that is not selected, a banner displays and more details are available about the changes that are required. When you try to save the schedules, the View details modal indicates the changes that you need to make before you save the schedules.
