Credentials for WebSocket server

This section provides you the procedure for adding a credentials in NetBackup for WebSocket server.

To add credentials for a WebSocket server

  1. On the left, click Credential management.
  2. Click the WebSocket server tab.
  3. Click Add.
  4. Specify the required details and then click Next.
  5. NetBackup validates the specified details and displays a message. Verify the details and then click Add WebSocket server.
Deactivate WebSocket server connection

You can deactivate the WebSocket server connection from the Credential management.

To deactivate the WebSocket credentials

  1. On the left, click Credential management.
  2. Click the WebSocket server tab.
  3. In the list, locate the WebSocket server. Then select Action > Deactivate.
  4. It may take some time for the connection status to update. The status is displayed as Deactivated and the connection state is displayed as Disconnected.
Delete a WebSocket server credential

You can delete the WebSocket connection to the server from Credential management.

To delete the WebSocket credential

  1. On the left, click Credential management.
  2. Click the WebSocket server tab.
  3. In the list of WebSocket connections, locate the required credential. Then select Actions > Delete.
