Credentials for WebSocket server
This section provides you the procedure for adding a credentials in NetBackup for WebSocket server.
To add credentials for a WebSocket server
- On the left, click Credential management.
- Click the WebSocket server tab.
- Click Add.
- Specify the required details and then click Next.
- NetBackup validates the specified details and displays a message. Verify the details and then click Add WebSocket server.
Deactivate WebSocket server connection
You can deactivate the WebSocket server connection from the Credential management.
To deactivate the WebSocket credentials
- On the left, click Credential management.
- Click the WebSocket server tab.
- In the list, locate the WebSocket server. Then select Action > Deactivate.
- It may take some time for the connection status to update. The status is displayed as Deactivated and the connection state is displayed as Disconnected.
Delete a WebSocket server credential
You can delete the WebSocket connection to the server from Credential management.
To delete the WebSocket credential
- On the left, click Credential management.
- Click the WebSocket server tab.
- In the list of WebSocket connections, locate the required credential. Then select Actions > Delete.
