NetBackup™ Web UI Administrator's Guide

Prerequisites for configuring robots and drives

The following prerequisites exist when you configure robots and drives:

  • NDMP credentials: NDMP (Network Data Management Protocol) host credentials are used to authenticate and manage access to NDMP servers. The credentials require NDMP host name, username, and password.

  • ACS credentials: An ACS (Access Control Service) host is typically used in the context of managing and authorizing access to various services and applications. In the NetBackup web UI, you require ACS device host and ACS host.
