Stop or restart the media device manager
Use the following procedure to stop and restart the NetBackup device manager.
To start or stop the media device manager
- Open the NetBackup web UI.
- On the left, select Storage > Media servers. Then select the Media servers tab.
- Select the media server and select Stop/Restart media manager device daemon.
- Locate Action and select the action that you want to take.
The actions that are available depend on the state of the media manager device.
- Select any of the Options that you want.
- Click Apply.
