Workflow for malware scanning

This section describes the workflow for malware scanning for the following:

  • MSDP backup images using Agentless host as the scan host: The Agentless host requires SSH credentials to connect and perform the scan through thin client.

  • MSDP backup images using NetBackup client as the scan host: The NetBackup client uses the client secure communication and performs the scan on the NetBackup client.

  • OST and AdvancedDisk: For a complete list of supported OpenStorage servers, see the 'OST Storage Servers' section in NetBackup Hardware and Cloud Storage Compatibility List (HCL).
