To add a robot or tape drive directly attached to an NDMP host

1. In theNetBackup web UI, select Storage > Tape storage.
2. On the Actions menu, click Configure storage devices from the pop-up menu.
3. Select the primary server for the list. Click Edit.
4. In the Edit device host dialog, select NDMP server, click Change. Click Next.
5. Select the host that has the tape or robot configured. Click Next.

   After the scan is complete, you can see the list of tapes and robots attached to the device. Select the required tapes and robots and click Next. Click Commit changes.
