About remote client backup scheduling
NetBackup backup policies use the time zone of the primary server for scheduling jobs. If your remote clients are in a different time zone than your NetBackup primary server, you must compensate for the difference. For example, suppose the primary server is in Finland (UTC+2) and the remote client is in London (UTC+0). If the backup policy has a window from 6pm to 6am, backups can begin at 4pm on the client. To compensate, you should set the backup window from 8pm to 8am. Alternatively, it may be advisable to use a separate backup policy for each time zone in which remote clients reside.
