Cleaning up the images that are migrated from the MSDP server
You can clean up the images that are migrated from the MSDP server anytime, either during the evacuation process is running, or when all the images have been migrated. It is recommended to do it once they are significantly migrated.
If multiperson authorization is enabled, approve the image cleanup requests by the evacuation process, so that the image cleanup jobs can start. The image cleanup jobs can be found in the Activity Monitor Web UI which cleans up those images from the MSDP server. If some image cleanup jobs fail, ensure that the MSDP server is functional, and the images are allowed to be deleted. For example, unlock the images if they are in WORM locked, or use the Not delete option to clean up the images from the NetBackup catalog only.
You can also use the NetBackup command bpexpdate to expire the images, which cannot be deleted. After the images are expired, click Cleanup the migrated images again to get the status of the images in the MVG server backlog to be refreshed.
