Starting the MSDP server evacuation
Before initiating the evacuation process for an MSDP server, complete the following preparation steps:
Review the prerequisites that are required for MSDP server evacuation.
Create a dedicated storage unit that is associated with the current MVG volume you plan to evacuate. This storage unit will be used as the destination storage of the evacuation. Use a storage unit that is not currently used for regular NetBackup operations to avoid interference during evacuation.
Specify the desired maximum concurrent job number in the storage unit.
See Configuring the maximum concurrent number of jobs in the storage unit.
