NBFP_CHECK option for NetBackup servers and clients

Use the NBFP_CHECK option to control whether permissions and ownership of NetBackup files should be verified, corrected, and reported to the web UI or not.

Use the nbgetconfig and the nbsetconfig commands to view, add, or change the option.

For information about these commands, see the NetBackup Commands Reference Guide.

The NBFP_CHECK configuration option can have the following values:

FIX - Corrects permissions and ownership of the files.

FIX_NOTIFY - Corrects permissions and ownership of the files, and posts the results on to the NetBackup web UI.

VERIFY - Verifies permissions and ownership of the files.

VERIFY_NOTIFY - Verifies permissions and ownership, and posts the results on to the NetBackup web UI.

To disable the option, use the following format:

NBFP_CHECK = OFF

Equivalent NetBackup web UI property

No equivalent exists in the NetBackup web UI.
