About Instant Access configurations

Perform the steps provided in the following sections for configuring the Instant Access for malware scanning:

  • MSDP build-your-own (BYO) server prerequisites and hardware requirements to configure Instant Access

  • Instant Access tuning parameters for malware scanning (BYO)

  • Configuration for scan instances

The procedures mentioned in the above three sections are also applicable for Media server of OST storage server which is configured as a MSDP storage (for Instant Access capability) which is described in the following section:
