Instant Access tuning parameters for malware scanning (BYO)

  • Perform the following to update the Linux kernel vm.max_map_count parameter:

    • Add the following to parameter with value to the /etc/sysctl.conf file:

      vm.max_map_count=262144

    • Reload the configuration file using the following command:

      root: sysctl -p

    • Verify the updated new value of vm.max_map_count parameter using the following command:

      cat /proc/sys/vm/max_map_count
