Use multiple MSDP nodes (policy attribute)
Available in NetBackup 11.0 and later, the policy attribute Use multiple MSDP nodes improves load balancing for multistream backups on MSDP cluster storage servers. This feature enables the distribution of backup streams across the multiple MSDP nodes, optimizing throughput, and reducing potential congestion on individual nodes.
The Use multiple MSDP nodes attribute is available on the NetBackup web UI for the following policy types:
Standard
MS-Windows
MS-SQL-Server
The policy attribute is not available for the following policy types:
Oracle
Epic-Large-File
Universal-Share
MSDP-Object-Store
