To configure a Domino backup policy for database supporting files

  1. On the left, select Protection > Policies.
  2. Select Add.
  3. On the Attributes tab, do the following:
    • Type a unique name for the new policy.

    • For the Policy type, select MS-Windows (Windows) or Standard (UNIX).

    • Select other attributes you want.

  4. Select the Schedules tab and configure the schedules for this policy.
  5. Select the Clients tab and add the clients that you want to back up with this policy.
  6. On the Backup selections tab, select Add.
  7. From the Pathname or directive list select ALL_LOCAL_DRIVES. The select Add to list.
  8. Select Add.
  9. Continue with the instructions for excluding database files from the backup of a Windows client or a UNIX client.
