Rescan and update barcodes
Use the following procedure to rescan the media in a robot and to update NetBackup with the barcodes.
Note:
Rescan and update barcodes does not apply to volumes in API robot types.
To rescan and update barcodes
- Open the NetBackup web UI.
- On the left, select Storage > Tape storage.
- Select the Volumes tab.
- Select the volumes you want to rescan and update.
- Select Rescan/update barcodes.
- Select Start.
- The results of the update display in the Results section.
