NetBackup™ for Oracle Administrator's Guide

Activate or deactivate a database

You can make a database inactive in NetBackup so it is excluded from a backup. For example, if the database is under maintenance.

To deactivate a database

  1. On the left, click Workloads > Oracle and then click the Databases tab.
  2. Locate the database that you want to deactivate.
  3. Click Actions > Deactivate > Deactivate.

 

To activate a database

  1. On the left, click Workloads > Oracle and then click the Databases tab.
  2. Locate the database that you want to deactivate.
  3. Click Actions > Activate > Activate.
