NetBackup™ Status Codes Reference Guide

NetBackup status code: 6175

Message: The sign in request failed.

Explanation: The NetBackup risk engine detects system anomalies and sends alerts, which lets you take action before a security threat occurs. If your NetBackup server is configured to detect unusual sign-ins and if unusual sign-ins are detected on your NetBackup server, a multiperson authorization ticket is created for the logon request. You see this message when the sign-in request failed due to a system error.

Recommended Action: Review the NetBackup Web Services logs for errors and retry the log on.
