NetBackup™ Status Codes Reference Guide

NetBackup status code: 8511

Message: Failed to load the local certificate or the keystore.

Explanation: This error can occur in the following cases:

  • The certificate or the keystore is not available at the specified path.

  • The certificate or the keystore is corrupted or inaccessible.

  • The private key is encrypted and the passphrase file path is not provided.

  • The private key is encrypted and the passphrase that is contained in the passphrase file is wrong.

Recommended Action: Ensure that the certificate and the keystore are accessible and that their paths are correct.
