NetBackup™ Status Codes Reference Guide

NetBackup status code: 8724

Message: The host ID-to-host name mapping cannot be configured as a shared mapping because it is associated with a single host.

Explanation: Only host ID-to-host name mappings that are shared across multiple hosts (for example, in cluster or multi-domain scenarios) should be configured as shared mappings.

Recommended Action: Ensure that the host ID-to-host name mapping that you want to add is not configured as shared because the mapping is associated with a single host.
