NetBackup™ Status Codes Reference Guide

NetBackup status code: 5995

Message: The certificate enrollment failed. The host ID that is associated with the certificate to be enrolled is assigned to another host.

Explanation: The certificate to be enrolled is not associated with the specified host and is associated with a different host.

Recommended Action: Do one of the following:

  • Provide the certificate that is already enrolled for or issued to the host.

  • Add or update (delete and then add) the subject name of the certificate in the NetBackup database. Do the following:

    • Run the nbcertcmd -deleteECACertEntry command to delete the association of the existing host with the certificate.

    • Run the nbcertcmd -createECACertEntry command to associate the certificate with the existing host. For more information on the commands, refer to the NetBackup Commands Reference Guide.
