Malware hash configuration parameters
FILE_HASH_SEARCH_INTERVAL_SECONDS
The FILE_HASH_SEARCH_INTERVAL_SECONDS parameter is used to configure the interval between search jobs that are triggered.

How to use | Reduce the value of FILE_HASH_SEARCH_INTERVAL_SECONDS to decrease the time of identifying malware within the protected assets in a NetBackup domain. Use the following format: FILE_HASH_SEARCH_INTERVAL_SECONDS = 1800 The default value is 28800 (8 hours). The minimum value is 1800 (30 minutes) and the maximum value is 86400 (24 hours). Note: Restart the NetBackup Web Management Console service (nbwmc) for the new value to take effect. |
MALWARE_HASH_RETENTION_DAYS
The MALWARE_HASH_RETENTION_DAYS parameter is used to configure the number of days when a malware hash is treated as outdated.
