Copying a deployment policy to create a new deployment policy
Use the option to save time creating policies. This option is especially useful for the policies that contain many of the same policy attributes, schedules, or hosts selections.
To copy a deployment policy
- Open the NetBackup web UI.
- On the left, select Hosts > Deployment management.
- Select the policy to copy.
- Select Copy policy.
- Enter the name for the new policy.
- Select Copy. The only difference between the new policy and the copied policy is the name.
Make any changes that you want to the new policy. Then select Copy.
