Deactivate or activate an instance
You can make an instance inactive in NetBackup so it is excluded from a backup. For example, if the instance is under maintenance.
To deactivate an instance
- Select the Instances tab.
- Select the instance that you want to deactivate.
- Select Deactivate.
To activate an instance
- Select the Instances tab.
- Select the instance that you want to activate.
- Select Activate.
