Deploying Snapshot Manager server using the marketplace offer
From version , Snapshot Manager server is deployed as a separate offer on the marketplace. You need to follow the steps to deploy the Snapshot Manager on the AWS cloud.
To deploy Snapshot Manager server
- Visit the AWS Marketplace at link.
- Locate and access the Veritas NetBackup Snapshot Manager (BYOL).
- On the offer page, click Continue to Subscribe.
- Review the Terms and Conditions and click Continue to Configuration.
- This opens the selection page which lets you select and launch the CloudFormation Template for the NetBackup component you want to install.
- Provide a name for the Stack.
- Provide the various configurations for NetBackup Snapshot Manager system, network, server, KMS, security etc. Refer to the section See NetBackup installation parameters for Snapshot Manager server.
- Click Next to tag your stack for identification.
- Review all the details and initiate the launch.
