Verifying NetBackup configuration
After you complete the configuration of storage devices, volumes, the catalog backup, and the backup policies, verify that NetBackup fails over properly in the cluster.
To verify NetBackup configuration
Confirm that the NetBackup is online on the primary node, then determine if the following can be completed successfully:
Scheduled backups
User-directed backups
NetBackup catalog backups
Server-and user-directed restores
- Switch the NetBackup resource group to another node and perform the same tests in the previous step. Repeat for each node in the cluster where NetBackup is installed.
