About NetBackup Snapshot Manager for Cloud upgrades

You should not use two versions of NetBackup Snapshot Manager on two different hosts to manage the same assets.

When you upgrade NetBackup Snapshot Manager, all the snapshot data and configuration data from your previous version is maintained in the external /cloudpoint data volume. Veritas recommends that you upgrade NetBackup Snapshot Manager on the same host or on a different host to which the NetBackup Snapshot Manager data volume of the previous version is attached.
