Reenable the nbcmdrun command
By default, the nbcmdrun command is enabled.
If you have disabled the nbcmdrun command and you want to reenable it, use the following procedure.
Note:
To use the nbcmdrun command, the command and the NetBackup service user must be enabled on the NetBackup host.

To reenable nbcmdrun
- The system administrator should update the touch file called ENABLE_NBCMDRUN with content 1.
Note:
The ENABLE_NBCMDRUN file does not have any extension.
- Run the following command:
On UNIX:
echo 1 > /usr/openv/var/ENABLE_NBCMDRUN
On Windows:
echo 1 > install path\NetBackup\var\ENABLE_NBCMDRUN
