Add a credential to use for cloning an Oracle database
In NetBackup 10.3, you can use an stored credential for Oracle cloning operations. For an Oracle instance or RAC database, you must provide the credentials manually.

To add a credential to use for cloning an Oracle database
- On the left, click Credential management.
- On the Named credentials tab, click Add and provide the following properties:
Credential name (for example: server_credential1)
Tag (for example: Workload name)
Description (for example: This credential is used to access workload name)
- Click Next.
- Select Oracle.
- Provide the authentication details that are needed to connect to the Oracle database.

- Click Next.
- In Permissions, add one or more RBAC roles that you want to have access to the credential.
Click Add.
Select the role name.
Select the credential permissions that you want the role to have.
Click Save.
Click Next.
- On the Review page, verify all information is correct and click Finish.
