About deploying NetBackup Snapshot Manager in the cloud
A common deployment approach for NetBackup Snapshot Manager is to set up a NetBackup Snapshot Manager instance in the cloud and then configure it to protect and manage all the assets in the cloud. You can deploy NetBackup Snapshot Manager either manually or using the NetBackup Snapshot Manager template available in the online marketplace.
In case of manual NetBackup Snapshot Manager deployment, ensure the UUID of NetBackup Snapshot Manager boot disk is unique and does not conflict with FS UUID of any other asset node.
