About license key entry
Licenses for all NetBackup SKUs must be entered on the primary server.
Enter licenses by using one of the following methods:
During NetBackup primary server installation (recommended).
The installation script prompts you to enter the licenses for all NetBackup products that you plan to install.
NetBackup Administration Console
After NetBackup primary server installation, open the console and click .
Command-line interface (UNIX only)
After NetBackup primary server installation, use the following command:
/usr/openv/netbackup/bin/admincmd/get_license_key
Note:
You can log on to a NetBackup server from almost any server in a system to view, enter, and administer licenses. When you administer licenses remotely, make sure that you view the licenses of the system you intend to change. You do not want to add or change a license on the wrong server.
