NetBackup™ Deduplication Guide

Upgrading to NetBackup 10.1.1

You must unmount all the NFS mount points on the client side before you upgrade from a previous release to NetBackup 10.1.1. Otherwise, problems can occur when accessing the universal share on the client side over NFS.

Note:

The CIFS/SMB shares do not require these operations.

  1. Unmount all the universal share on the Linux UNIX client.

  2. Upgrade to NetBackup 10.1.1.

  3. Start the NetBackup services.

  4. Mount the universal share on the Linux UNIX client.
