NetBackup access management administration

The access to NetBackup can be controlled by defining the user groups and granting explicit permissions to these groups. You can configure the user groups and assign permissions. Select Access Management in the NetBackup Administration Console.

Note:

In order for the NetBackup Administration Console to function, the user must have permission to log on to the system remotely.

Note:

If some media servers are not configured with access control, non-root/non-administrator users cannot manage those servers.
