About host name-based certificates

By default, individual NetBackup primary servers are provisioned with a host name-based certificate during installation. To provision a host name-based certificate on a media server or client, the NetBackup administrator runs the bpnbaz command on the primary server to push the certificate to other hosts.

See Overview of security certificates in NetBackup.
